Today in What The Entire Fuck: School Forces Pregnancy Tests on Girls, Kicks Out Students Who Refuse or Are Pregnant
In a Louisiana public school, female students who are suspected of being pregnant are told that they must take a pregnancy test. Under school policy, those who are pregnant or refuse to take the test are kicked out and forced to undergo home schooling.
Welcome to Delhi Charter School, in Delhi, Louisiana, a school of 600 students that does not believe its female students have a right to education free from discrimination. According to its Student Pregnancy Policy, the school has a right to not only force testing upon girls, but to send them to a physician of the school administration’s choice. A positive test result, or failure to take the test at all, means administrators can forbid a girl from taking classes and force her to pursue a course of home study if she wishes to continue her education with the school.
This is in blatant violation of federal law and the U.S. Constitution.

This one goes out to all those people who think that just because discrimination is illegal and this kind of forced invasion of privacy is illegal, that it somehow doesn’t still happen fucking CONSTANTLY.

what the fuck

im so done with the south

sure, kids now and days need to keep their legs shut, but honestly, you can’t keep them from getting an education. people are so judgmental.

Southern boy here, born and raised. The south is a strange place, and I did not enjoy some of the company while I was there. Folks will tell ya it’s simpler. It’s simple IF you follow the rules set forth by the reigning elders in charge. If you are different you are seen as a threat. Mostly cause you could make people act a different way, and by god you should act a certain way and do a certain thing cause that’s just the way it’s done down there.
It’s very cookie cutter, you’re either with them, or you’re their enemy. Well we all know that only Sith deal in absolutes. There are a LOT of absolutes down south.
Folks are some of the most friendly I’ve ever seen…if you’re like them. If you ain’t, you are shunned. Mostly passive aggressive stuff, few folks will take action against ya just to show off for others.
The countryside is some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen, I just wish the folks down there would understand that if some girl wants to sleep around doesn’t mean she’s the harbinger of the end of days. She might just like sex a lot. If parents don’t want their sons to have sex with her, then teach him not too. Don’t go after the girl cause your son isn’t who you thought he was.
Also image. My GOD folks worry about what their neighbor thinks, way too much. I’ve heard more gossip in stores about shit folks didn’t have any business talking about than anywhere else. “Tarnishing the family name” is a real thing, and folks worry about it.
I grew up with folks that were afraid. Good folks, always help ya out in a pinch, but they were mostly afraid. Bout all sorts of stuff, stuff that doesn’t matter.
